relationship
I have twenty years experience and have worked in government agencies,
community health, and industry.
Many people use psychotherapy as a response to the stresses
and strains of modern life, to help with interpersonal
and business relationships and to learn new ways of responding
to stressful situations.
Why Psychotherapy?
In
addition to seeking professional help from a GP, it is
often realized that medical problems are made worse and
sometimes even initiated because we have never learned
how to deal with certain situations without feeling powerless
and suffering distress.
Relationships
I work with women and men, couples and families with a
wide range of presenting issues. I have worked with heterosexual
and same sex couples experiencing difficulties in their
relationships and I have also worked with survivors and
perpetrators of emotional, physical and sexual abuse or
neglect.
Many
family relationships experience difficulties when shared
life goals have changed, unexpected stresses impact negatively
on one or more parties in the relationship and communication
difficulties eventuate.
I have also specialised in working within a Jungian framework,
that is exploring individual's dream material in the context
of their life situation.
My fees are £45 for each 50 minute session.
