Aldeby Hall Fruit Farm - Judith & Mark Dodds-Smith available on 07799 767 216 & (01502) 677363. The ponds have been netted and rearranged with large carp moved into Otter Lake. Bridge Lake is a match orientated venue at £5 per peg of 22 max; with silver fish dominant alongside small carp and Crossing Water a mixed fishery. Currently there are some tidal RIVER swims available at £4 per day. The day ticket prices for the lakes are £6 with £4 for Concessionaries and a £4 HALF DAY. Barford Commercial Fishery - Based on the outskirts of Norwich, provides an impressive range of fishing across the four venues. There is a total of 8 well stocked lakes holding a good variety of fish, including Carp, Tench, Bream, Chub, Crucian Carp, Golden Tench and Orfe, Roach, Rudd and Perch. Also on site are excellent facilities including car parking, toilet block, and a fully stocked tackle shop.

Cider Farm Halesworth - (01986) 781353 – Two lakes, one only 5 pegs, with Carp only but high catching chances. Jonathan Calls - £6 Day. Located on left off the Bungay to Halesworth road.

Besthorpe Garden Centre – 5 lakes. Trevor Day - £4 adult, £3 over 60's and disabled, £2 accommapied children - 07900 825060 & (01953) 456982 & 452672. Bait Shop on site with good advice. Mostly small and medium carp.

Camelot Lake - Wortwell - big fish in small deep Lake (01986 788208) limited pegs so phone first. £8 day

Diss Mere and Eye Ponds – Diss and District Angling Club controls the Mere in Diss. We have 11 ponds in Eye and 5 miles on the river Waveney, which in parts is some of the prettiest fishing around. Full details of membership and contact details on the website www.dissanglingclub.org.uk.

Ellingham Nursery Fishery – Small and delightful in nicely kept grounds secluded from the elements. You can stay here with your caravan too! Nigel Bales, Old Yarmouth Road, Ellingham - (01508 518205) - £5 per day – no lone Juniors and good mixed fishery holding 18 pegs.

Field Farm Wrentham – House Pond plus Three Islands and two other small Lakes. A good silver fish lake area. (01502) 675273 £4 for 4 hours £6: 4-12 hours. Tackle shop & Bait on site. (six lakes)

Fritton Lake - Bank or boat fishing at Fritton Lake throughout the year (hired by the day or half day; likely catches include roach, perch, bream, carp and pike). In the summer open from 10am to 5.00pm. In the winter open from dawn till dusk by prior arrangement. Please note fishing equipment and bait is not supplied, but bait etc is obtainable nearby at cherry lane garden centre. 

Hinderclay Lakes – New Lake – Reed Pool – Spring Lake – Willow Willow. Lennie Platt (01379) 890420- Stuart Platt (01379) 890110. Near Redgrave - Off the Bury St Edmunds Road has a touch of the “wild” still about it and holds regular matches won with over 100 lbs of fish.

Marsh Trail Lakes – These three are situated near Morrison’s and the Level Crossing at Beccles just off the by-pass. The attractive day ticket water is reached by driving off the roundabout down to the recycling centre and then up along the path for parking. The Fishery has been Otter fenced and a trolley is handy. Shallow in centre of A Lake but 6 feet to 8 feet close in at edges on far side. C Lake is carp dominant. B holds big tench. Taswood Lakes Fishery – Tasburgh. (01508) 470919 Seven Lakes. Spring; Lapwing; Osprey; Cinnamon; Kingfisher; Heron; Broadwing, but Heron & Broadwing are not for Day Tickets. Also a little bit of the narrow River Tas is available ADJACENT. Not open April and May.

Highfield Fisheries Ltd, Thorpe Abbotts. Day tickets £10 for 3 rods, £8.00 for 2 rods, £6.00 for one. Night fishing - Fri/Sat £20, Sun-Thurs £12. Good general fishery consisting of three lakes, common and mirror carp to 28lbs, ghost carp to 23lb, bream to 10lb, tench to 5.5lb.

Weybread Mill Lane Fishery – Found at the top of the hill in Weybread Village taking a marked turning off left. (013790) 588141. £7 day with concessions. Big roach, bream, Carp Midweek opens. Adam the Owner’s pretty 3-acre fishery is set in his picturesque lawned garden, with a bridged island and one is of the deepest and most pleasant Commercials around where you can get out of the elements.

Weybread Pits: No 1. Harleston, Wortwell & District Ac – Ocean; Club Pit; Middle Pit; Bottle/Turton Pit - Nigel Poll (01379) 853571. This Club offers carp fishing to beat most commercials and every year produces huge specimens of all species. Variable membership rates.

Waveney Valley/ Yew Tree Lakes - (01986) 788676 –Located in Wortwell. Highly rated big carp specimen water with another Lake holding catfish. Situated in a Holiday Homes Park. Syndicate tickets available.

Walpole Valley Farm Fishery - 07917690355 or (01986) 784488 Lee Brown. Former Trout water holding some still and a head of carp.

Great Yarmouth & District AC - run by Keith Ford for matches and pleasure fishing on the mighty tidal River Yare at Langley and Beauchamp Arms (01603) 483923.

THE RIVER CHET around Loddon is almost all FREE tidal fishing. Not a deep river. At Hardley Cross Staithe there are a few places only a few steps from your car. Loddon Common is handy too.
