Reflections with Frank Honeywood

This month Frank's collection of photographs shows the history of the postal service in Bungay and the surrounding area from as far back as 1890

This is one of the earliest photos of the Post Office, dated c.1890

The Post Office was situated in the Market Place in 1910

The position, at the top of Bridge Street can be clearly seen

The amount of staff needed was impressive

It was a long way to St Cross but it must have seemed even further for the telegraph boy (right). Both photos c. 1910
