The Fisher Youth Theatre Group are already planning their
Summer 2005 program with a Junior production of "Alice in
Wonderland" whilst the Seniors are tackling Willy Russell's
"Our Day Out". Both productions are to feature at The
King's Head Hotel during the Bungay Arts Festival from the 4th
July to the 9th July and there are plans to take the senior show
"On The Road". With the reopening of the theatre
building will come the promise of exiting rehearsal and performance areas
along with badly needed permanent FYTG office space and production
facilities. It promises to be a very exciting time for the group
who are members of the National Association of Youth Theatres
and have had one of the performers accepted by the National Youth
Theatre this year. |

Sea Scouts
Groups are very similar to any other Scout Group; they have the
same aim but use a special emphasis on water activities and maritime
training within their programme to achieve that aim. Water activities
can provide the adventure and adrenaline rush that youngsters
are looking for. Sailing boats virtually force Scouts to work
as a team, with the penalty of getting wet if they don't. Water
activities are an area where skills and age do not necessarily
correlate and provide an ideal opportunity for Scouts to teach
each other.. |
