This took place on February 23rd at the Chaucer Club, Chaucer Street, Bungay at 7.30pm.and there were 81 registered players that took part in the men's singles and 32 for the ladies. The event, including the raffle made £710 for the Sandra Chapman Centre for Cancer Patients at James Paget Hospital, Gorleston where Paul had received treatment.
The main trophy won by Mark Eaton was sponsored by PCP Fruit Machines and his winner's cup was supplied by Mr and Mrs Bob Page. Andy also received £100 donated by The Chaucer Club. The Runners Up Trophy, sponsored by Sanderling Internet was won by Rob Warman who also received a cash prize donated by Mr and Mrs R. Tooke. Carl Shillings, with his highest check out of 129 received a trophy sponsored by Lorraine Reade and Jason Tooke.
Paul was extremely pleased with the tremendous support he had received and thanked all those that had taken part, some travelling quite a way in order to attend the event, which this year attracted the most ever dart players and supporters.
In particular he also thanked the sponsors of the trophies and prize money, Ray and Wendy Tooke of the Chaucer Club for the wonderful food, Jason and Lorraine for the overall administration and all those who had helped to make this so successful. Click here for a set of results
