Bags of Personality

Bags of Personality is a collaboration between two East Anglian designers, Sue Havard and Terry Wright.

They share a passion for colour and textiles which they both translate into unique and beautiful bags.

Terry began making bags 18 months ago as the ideal focus for her beading and embroidery skills. Many of the colours and materials in her ThalaTheli bags are inspired by her travels to India where she met and studied the techniques of artisans In Gujarat.

Sue Havard Sue discovered bag-making eight years ago. This fired her to build her repertoire of skills in the inventive use of yarns while developing her Unique range of bags. Both women have sold locally and through a limited number of exclusive outlets.

Each bag is an eclectic reflection of the colours and forms that surround them combined into a piece of wearable art. Individual designs transform a variety of new and rescued materials into objects of desire.
