Charity Darts Open Singles Competition - 19th February 2005 at The Chaucer Club Bungay

Paul EagleFive years ago Paul Eagle (pictured left) was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease which is a treatable form of cancer. With the care that he received from the Sandra Chapman Centre at the James Paget hospital he has made a good recovery, although he still needs to return for the occasional check up.

As a way of saying thank you to them he embarked on a series of fund raising schemes, one of which was a charity darts tournament. Since the first tournament was held back in 2000 things have gone from strength to strength and this year promises to be the best yet with many of the top pub, club and county players entering.

The tournament is being held on Saturday 19th February at 7:45pm in the Chaucer Club, Bungay and for a modest entrance fee of £2.50 the winner will pick up a prize of £100 and a trophy. Other trophies will be awarded to the runner up, highest outshot and various other categories.

There will also be a raffle on the night for which any donated prizes would be most welcome.

Register on the night by 7:30pm for £2.50 or in advance by phoning The Chaucer Club on Bungay (01986) 892473 or register online at charitydarts@lycos.co.uk
