Boxing Day Hunt - 27th December 2004

The annual Boxing Day hunt attracted a record number of people onto the streets of Bungay to see, what could well be, the last time that the huntsmen, horses and hounds would meet in the town.

Enthusiastic applause from the 2000 strong crowd greeted the arrival of the hunt as they gathered for their traditional stirrup cup from the Kings Head Hotel before setting off into the countryside.

As usual a small contingent of the anti-hunt fraternity were present who made their feelings known in a noisy but peaceful way.
