Mark and Tanya took over The Castle Inn in July 2007 and have already built a good reputation locally for the quality of their food.
 
Mark's a highly experienced chef who specialises in home cooked, seasonal, locally sourced and inspired food. The lunch menu changes with the seasons over the year, and the evening menu changes a couple of times a week, so there's always something new to try.
 
They love to bake so make fresh scones and yummy cakes every day to enjoy for morning or afternoon tea.

They are also happy to cater for special occasions, - the restaurant seats up to 36 people.

The timbered framed building of the Fleece Inn is one of the oldest buildings in the town and can be seen opposite St Mary's Church. Mid-day meals are served 7 days a week from 12noon - 2.00pm with an extensive menu from snacks to Sunday roasts and there is a varied list of specials every day.

A non smoking dining area is set away from the well stocked bar that is traditionally Adnams but also has a selection of guest beers. For more information click here
